Traditional sewer repair means trenching from the house to the street, 4 to 6 feet deep along the full length of the sewer lateral. In Anthem's master-planned neighborhoods, that trench frequently runs through paver driveways, established desert landscaping, and HOA-maintained common areas that require restoration after the work is complete.
Trenchless repair accesses the line from two small points at each end. No trench through your yard or driveway. The landscaping, pavers, and any features above the sewer line stay in place. Most Anthem trenchless jobs are completed in one to two days.
When traditional repair is necessary, severe collapse or extreme offset that prevents trenchless access. We say so clearly after the camera inspection, before any commitment.
Step 1 — Camera inspection: A sewer camera goes through the line from a cleanout access point. You see the footage in real time; root intrusion, scale buildup, bellies, cracks, and offset joints are all visible. We explain what each finding means and recommend the right repair method before any commitment.
Step 2 — Flat-rate quote: Based on the camera findings, we provide a complete flat-rate quote. If any portion of the line needs traditional access, a section that's collapsed completely and won't allow a trenchless approach. We tell you before the work starts, not after.
Step 3 — Access point preparation: We establish two small access points. In Anthem's master-planned neighborhoods, we place access points carefully to avoid paver driveways, established landscaping, and HOA-maintained common areas where possible.
Step 4 — Pipe bursting or CIPP installation: We complete the repair underground. No trench along the length of the line.
Step 5 — Post-repair camera inspection: A second camera pass confirms the repair is done correctly and the line is flowing cleanly.
Step 6 — Documentation and warranty: Full written documentation of work performed and warranty terms at job completion.
